Westside ’95

Server Rules

These rules are a draft and may change before launch. The Discord always has the current version.

  1. You must be 18 or older. No exceptions. Lying about your age gets you removed.
  2. Stay in character. Keep out-of-character talk to a minimum while you’re in the city, and take problems to the Discord.
  3. No metagaming. Your character only knows what they learned in the city. Nothing from streams, Discord or out-of-character chat.
  4. No powergaming. Don’t force outcomes on other players or do things that would be impossible in real life. Give people a chance to respond.
  5. Value your life. Act like your character wants to live. If someone has a gun on you, behave that way.
  6. No random violence. Violence needs a reason built through roleplay. No shooting or running people over without one.
  7. Stay in 1995. No references to people, technology or events from after 1995.
  8. Let it burn slowly. Money, reputation and power take time. Big plans should take real planning.
  9. Respect people out of character. No harassment, hate speech or discrimination, in the city or in the Discord.
  10. No cheating or exploiting. No mod menus or cheats, and no abusing bugs. If you find one, report it.
  11. Staff have the final say. If you disagree with a decision, raise it in the Discord, not in the city.
